The 2016 Emmy nominations are in! This year television has surely set the bar high, with some of the best on screen performances we have seen. Audiences everywhere were left with their jaws permanently dropped and eyes bulging in shock in front of the boob tube. With the likes of “How to Get Away With Murder”, “Game of Thrones”, and “The People v. OJ Simpson,” it’s no wonder we all didn’t morph into couch potatoes, drooling over every story plot….. Or maybe we did?
Anyways, this year’s nominees has recognized some of the most talented women of color of our time. Since we usually find our numbers low in American nominations, we here at SheUnpluggged wanted to shine a light on all the beautiful black women who may be walking home with an award come Sunday, September 18th!
